October is recognized around the world as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and continue the vital work of education, early detection, and research. This year, HIS Breast Cancer Awareness is proud to partner with Golftini, a family-run golf apparel company whose story and mission share a powerful connection to breast cancer awareness and family strength.
Founded by Susan Hess, Golftini began as a women’s golf clothing brand built on style, comfort, and confidence. Over the years, Golftini’s signature looks, often accented in a pink martini glass, became a symbol not only of fashion but of compassion. With a personal family history of breast cancer, the company’s dedication to raising awareness has always been at the heart of its identity. Now, Golftini has expanded to include a men’s golf line, introducing a balance of pink and blue, mirroring the colors that represent both female and male breast cancer awareness.
That shared vision brought Golftini and HIS Breast Cancer Awareness together. HIS Breast Cancer, co-founded by Harvey I. Singer and Vicki Singer Wolf, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing education and awareness about male breast cancer, a disease that affects approximately 1 in 833 men. The organization’s mission is to ensure men recognize that they too are at risk, to promote early detection through self-exams, and to support those diagnosed with resources and community.
